Getting to Know the "Real" Allyson
This was a page that I was asked to write about myself in 2003. The details mostlly surround experiences at GCC, but I do expand on the interests I had (and some I still have).
From what I recall I had to finish this off with a three day deadline. The picture of me in the article was taken at my old elementary school with Terry Kelly (terry-kelly.com).
I wrote this the year I was reunited with Paula. It was something that when I started writing it the words poured out of me, and I didn't stop until it was finished. I had a lot to stay about adoption, but never mentioned my disability once.
I'm happy to say almost 5 years later I'm still strongly connected with my "extended family"
